You have this one life to live, this one chance to live your dreams, this one chance to make a BIG impact on the world! So what are you waiting for? Get out there and do it!  Remember, you are a GIANT thick-skinned rhino and when you are passionately charging towards your life's dreams nothing can stop you!

The only limitations that exist are the limitations in your own mind! The restrictions in your mind were put there by your friends, parents, co-workers, and even by your own negative self-talk.  When you follow your passions and do what feels right for you, all of these limitations will begin to disappear.  All the garbage in your head and all the negative beliefs you hold have prevented you from following your passions and living an inspired life!

Overnight, all of the thoughts and actions that hold you back from following your passions can begin to go away.  Years of fear, negative self-talk and negative external cow talk can begin to hold less power over you if you simply start to believe in yourself, your passions and your gut.  You don't need to justify your passions to anyone.  What inspires you, motivates you and excites you is what makes you unique!

If your passion is to start the next Microsoft, do it! If your passion is to help end Malaria in Africa, go do it!  If you want to open a business you are passionate about....charge!

Be safe, be practical!
I know you have been told, "be practical, be safe, take the stable job." You have also been told to "start your 401k, get good health benefits, and stay long enough to get a pension." I’m not asking you to be irresponsible but you need to ask yourself if living a boring, non-passionate, "safe" life is better then grabbing life by the horns and charging through this great adventure called life!  Sure taking the passionate rhino path will be bumpy at times, you will encounter failure and defeat, but you will not now the taste of regret! Every failure will make you stronger and more powerful.  You have to ask yourself if giving up on your dreams is worth health benefits, a 401k and gold watch when you retire!

Show me the Money!
You can monetize your dream!  An amazing thing happens when you follow your passion; the money follows too.  When you live a life inspired by your dreams, the financial aspects of your life seem to miraculously fall into place.  Essentially if you are truly passionate, truly on fire about achieving your dreams, the money will follow!  Even if your dream is to have a non-profit organization to help the homeless, you can access millions in donations to make your organization grow.  When you have a dream, you will find a way to make it profitable.  Follow your passions and the rest of the pieces will begin to fall into place.

Whether your dream is to own a restaurant, start a charter school, become a rock star, run for political office, be any accountant, or raise a family, it doesn't matter. If it is your passion go for it and put everything into the charge! The Universe will begin to provide you with the tools you need to monetize your dream!

ACTION STEPS:
1. List your dreams, your passions: What would you do tomorrow if you won the lottery? If you could work like you didn't need the money, what would your ideal job be?

2. Cow forces:  What internal and external cow forces in your life are holding you back from following your passions?

Whatever you think about with emotion and energy you will bring about in your life.  Where you are today is the sum total of the beliefs and actions you have taken over the past several years.  Your dominant thoughts work deep into your subconscious mind and once there they go to work to bring about you and your future.  Where you are today is just the sum total of the past, your present is more a reflection of the past then of your current mental status.  As a Rhino you need to embrace a positive attitude and make sure to have positive big dreams for your future.  Today you are experiencing your dominant thoughts of your past. Tomorrow you can experience the dominant thoughts of your current thinking.

This is why you need to think BIG!  RHINO BIG!  If today you start making one of your dominant thoughts to be a millionaire and find ways to become a millionaire, in five years you could be a millionaire.  If you think small and hope in five years you are making a little more money and your car is paid off, then in five years that is who you will become.  What you think about and believe with emotion you will bring about!  Don't believe it?  Here’s a little proof!  At age 6 I built my own lemonade stand. Yep! I opened my very first pub when I was only 6 years old.   I look at the picture of me in the lemonade stand everyday in my office to remember how powerful your thoughts can be!  What you think today will become your future!

This week's Top Rhino I'm proud to say is my wife Shannon. She recently took first place in her age group in the US Triathlon Finals in California...and then just returned from a trip to Australia where she came in 9th in the World Triathlon Championships! Can you guess what picture is hanging in our home gym?  It’s a big blown up picture from the Philadelphia Inquirer from 1990 where Shannon at age 14, as an unknown underdog, won the Penn Relays.  See this stuff really works!

Right now if you have children you must be thinking, "What can I doto help them reach their goals in such a powerful way?" While in Australia, Grady, our son, got a picture taken wearing his Mom's Team US Tri uniform.  Only time will tell what path he will take, but if he's in the Olympics one day, it will be no surprise!

Remember to inspire yourself, your friends, and your kids.  Negative thoughts, negative actions will accumulate in your life and will result in negative results.  Positive, big ideas will result in a big, fun and positive life! You hold the power over your own thoughts, and you can be a source of great inspiration for those around you.  Part of being a Rhino and leaving the Cows in the pasture of mediocrity is to take personal responsibility.  You own your attitude, you control your thoughts, and you create your realty.  Nobody else can control those things.  You have the power to take the state of your own mind and direct to the end results you desire.  Your boss can't stop you, your spouse can't stop you and your past cannot stop you.

You are a giant, positive, energetic RHINO--nothing can stop you once you determine what you want!  So decide today to stop blaming others for where you are and what you have become.  Take the time today to write down who you want to be in 5 years, where you want to be in 5 years and how wonderful your life will be in 5 years!  When you think positive, visualize your ideal future and start letting your subconscious mind take control you will become what you think about!

Where you will be next month, next year and in five years is completely up to you.  By controlling your thoughts and dreaming big you can transform your life and live your dreams!  Think negative, self damaging thoughts, you will live it.  Think BIG POSITIVE RHINO thoughts and you will live a BIG FUN EXCITING life! It really works!

When I was in the Chiropractic care business, I would allow people to pay me what they feel they could afford. Our rules were simple, I would never turn people away because of their ability to pay.  I knew early on that I was given a gift. I could help people live a longer life and a better life!  As a result of my allowing patients to give what they could, what did I get in return? 850 patients a week, coming in on a weekly basis for lifetime chiropractic care.  Most other chiropractors see only 125 patients a week and their patients only come in when something "hurts."

I guess you could say I was building a tribe of Chiro Rhinos back then too!  The universe repaid me by not only sending me more patients, but patients that I wanted to attract--good, hard working, dedicated patients.  A chiropractor's dream!  I know what good can come from giving. I gave free chiropractic care to police, firefighters, high school and college sports teams. I understood a very important Law of the Jungle...the more you give out of your own abundance the more you will receive. I knew I could not "give" a chiropractic adjustment away, that by "giving" an adjustment the Universe would repay me in some form.

This is true in any business. In my moving business, my partner Dale gives a free move every month.  He also donates our services to certain charities throughout the year. In the restaurant business, we give our VIP members free parties where they get to enjoy new premium food and beverage products. The key point is to understand the more value you provide and the more you support your most loyal customer base, the more they will support your business. So in this difficult economy, if you want to grow your business, how about trying to give more value to your loyal customers and understand that the more you give, the more you will receive!

Write down three things that you are going to give someone this week--whether time, money, skill, knowledge. Remember to give out of your own abundance and the Jungle will reward you in many different ways!

Send in all your good deeds to RhinoLiving@DaveMagroganGroup.com!

"The world is but a canvas to the imagination."  -- Henry David Thoreau

It seems the Michael Jackson news coverage will never end.  CNN continues to break into important news stories with the latest exclusive details about his death, latest rehearsal, the drugs found in his home and the constant replays of his memorial service.

Americans are consumed with celebrities and it doesn't appear it will ever change. The rise, fall, and rise again trajectory of being a celebrity can be brutal to watch.  "Jacko the Wacko" has gone from a "perverted sicko" to musical genius again.  In life he was abused, arrested, and ridiculed. In death, he is a genius we will miss forever.  This is the cycle of almost all celebrities, few can break the love/hate cycle with the American public. Jon and Kate, America's favorite family, are now scorned for every step they take. Brittany Spears couldn't buy a cup of coffee without scandal, the list goes on and on.

It is the sad path of fame, but what is more sad is the "man in the mirror".  The delicate and shattered self-image most of these celebrities hide with drugs, alcohol, money and toys is what ultimately destroys them in the end.  Regardless of fame or money, who you are on the inside will ultimately determine your success or failure.  Michael Jackson was destined for self-sabotage and self destruction because the "man in the mirror" was still an 9 year old boy abused by his father, longing for the joy of childhood and unhappy with his features.  No amount of fame, wealth or pills would fix the negative self-image he saw every time he looked in the mirror. He was never able to put his past behind him. He was never able to look forward into the future without being limited by his childhood damage.  No matter what financial happiness, fame and success MJ enjoyed, the negative image he saw every time he looked in the mirror made him unable to achieve happiness.  Even the 30 million dollar Neverland ranch could not bring MJ's childhood back.  It only brought him more pain and misfortune.

Recently I watched "Walk the Line" again, the Johnny Cash story....great movie!  As you travel through his life story, you see that a tragic event in his youth and a destructive father continued to damage him throughout his life.  All through his life he went through battles with depression, drugs, and alcohol in an attempt to deal with the first 12 years of his life. His father had convinced him he was not good enough and he should not even be alive. Johnny Cash believed this for most of his adult life. Had June Carter not been there to show him what he really looked like in the mirror, he would never have survived.

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see a view of yourself that is distorted because of your past? Are you holding on to your childhood and reliving bad memories preventing happiness in the present?

Had MJ been a well-adjusted future-focused person, he will still be alive today.  He would have made a bigger impact on the world if he didn't  constantly bring up the demons of his past.  If it wasn't for June Carter, Johnny Cash surely would have self-destructed to the point of no return. She brought out the best in him and helped him see himself through different eyes.

The level of your success in life will be controlled by your self-image. You need to put your past behind you and start to charge at the future with unbridled optimism.  The best events have not happened to you yet and the past can never be relived.  You can only achieve goals consistent with your self-image. If you believe you can sell 10 million dollars in real estate this year you can. If you believe you are only good enough to sell 5 million, you are right again.

When you look in the mirror do you see your amazing talents, gifts and potential or do you see all the negative experiences and comments from your past? Looking in the mirror and constantly seeing your past will keep you firmly rooted there.

Did you know that you are the average of the ten people you spend the most time with? The Rhinos or Cows you spend the most time with will shape your success!  Make sure you are meeting great empowering RHINOS who share your vision for a Cow free world!  If you hang around 10 criminals, you will most likely become a criminal.  If you hang around 10 millionaires, you will most likely become a millionaire!! Whatever profession you are in, if you hang with the best, you will learn how to be the best!

Following the Laws of Attraction, Cause and Effect and Abundance you will become what you think about and who you hang out with the most!  Find people you are inspired by and ask them to be your mentor! Find people you inspire and help them up the mountain to success.  Success attracts success, RHINOS attract RHINOS, and Cows attract misery!  All the wildly wealthy and successful people I know from business, music, TV, movies, the book industry, and professional sports all give back!  They all enjoy seeing other people achieve great success and they enjoy helping RHINOS get there!  I am very thankful to the many people that have helped me, believed in me and helped guide me when very difficult decisions had to be made.

Success is not an accident, there are laws to this jungle and there are certain paths to success.  You can follow a mentor and achieve amazing success in a much shorter period of time.  If someone else has done it you can do it too!  Best of all, often times the person who is successful in your field is happy to share their secrets because they understand the Law of Abundance...that is how they became successful in the first place!  They understand the principle that you must give in order to receive.  It is where the RHINO give, love, serve philosophy came from.

Network and develop true friendships with RHINOS that you respect, admire and enjoy learning from!  Attend networking events, go to industry seminars, ask a RHINO to lunch to pick their brain, join a civic group, or country club, get out there and mingle! Return the favor by adding value to your new RHINO buddies and mentors and pass down information to the younger RHINOs that are looking to learn from you.  In all of my careers and businesses I have always looked for a mentor, someone who blazed the trail before me and could help guide me a long the way.  In my Chiropractic days it was Dr. Joe Donofrio, a NJ Chiropractor and Chairman of a Chiropractic College.  I choose him as my mentor because he was 100% honest with his patients, he let them pay whatever fee they could afford, and he saw over 1500 patients a week for over 30 years.  He built an incredible practice, enjoyed an amazing lifestyle all while doing good for his community and his patients.  I followed in his footsteps and within 2 years I was seeing 800 patients a week, making a great living and having a blast!  My mentor in Chiropractic guided me and gave me real world advice that helped me charge at success!  I have used this same principle in every business and I have made incredible friendships with very diverse and wonderful people.

Look at the people in your life.  Are they constantly dragging you down? Are they self destructive? Are they lazy complaining cows?  If so, get rid of them!  Life is way too short to have a negative, grazing cow slowing you down. Find a network of people that have the same great energy of you, people that believe you can be rich, successful and happy!  Remember you are the average of the ten people you spend the most time with.  It might be time for you to spend less time at the water cooler complaining with the cows and more time Charging with the RHINOS!  After all the RHINOS are grabbing life by the horns and making the impossible happen!

Charge!
