WE ARE... RHINOS!
Happy Tuesday Rhinos! I figured this was a perfect subject line to grab your attention, and it fits perfectly with the opening of the newest Kildare's at State College, PA! The pride and enthusiasm when the entire crowd inside a pub yells “We are...Penn State” is contagious.
We Are Rhinos! What does that mean? It means that a group of likeminded people working together can accomplish almost anything. That unity, commitment to a bigger vision, and hard work can produce incredible results. A team of hard working people can get tremendous things accomplished in a short period of time. A team of RHINOS can accomplish even more! It’s important to not only be a Rhino yourself but to surround yourself with other Rhinos and build a solid, committed, and trustworthy team around you. The thousands of people that read these emails every week are part of our Rhino family...WE ARE RHINOS! We are different. We accomplish more in a year than most people do in a decade!
Having heard the guests in the pub chant “We are Penn State” at the latest opening, you could feel their pride, loyalty, and their commitment to their team. The same is true of any company, team, or organization. A group of people believing in a vision, working together, and sharing it with enthusiasm, can push a company, a school, any organization to success.
Whatever you are working on right now: a school project, a company goal, a new career, or a major life goal, they all require a committed team of Rhinos around you. They may be family, friends, fellow students, co-workers, managers or board members. In every major area of your life, be it school, work, or family, the key is to have a mission and a team around it. The better the team that surrounds you, the better you will be, and the bigger success you will enjoy!
This Week’s Rhino Action:
1. Share your vision or mission with those around you this week in all areas of life. It could be work, school, a career change or a major company project. Find the Rhinos around you and share your vision and goals.
2. Create a clear plan. Whatever you are working on TAKE CHARGE. Once the vision is down take action.
3. Create enthusiasm. Be the Rhino. Be the leader, no matter where you are--whether it is at work, school or home. Become enthusiastic and bring others along to share in the success!
4. Look at the people around you. Could they shout "WE ARE RHINOS!?" If not, it may be time to clear the herd!
I would like to welcome all of our State College friends, colleagues, employees, and most importantly, Rhinos, to the family! Our leaders Frank Kasper, Eric Humphreys, and Patrick McBride delivered an amazing pub in an incredible Kildare's location. We would like to thank all the Rhinos that welcomed us to the community.
Charge!
